Founded in 2011 by avid pilot, Mark Pestal
AppStrap's mission has been to create and design highly functional kneeboard mounts to support the use of iPads, tablets and EFBs that have revolutionized the cockpit with apps like ForeFlight, WingX Pro, Garmin, and Jeppesen. Our products are designed by pilots with a focus on functionality, durability, and affordability.
AppStraps are used by a wide variety of aviators, including the United States military, NASA, charter operators, airlines, and pro pilots worldwide.
As a company, AppStrap is dedicated to bringing more innovative products to the aviation marketplace, providing customized products, and offering unequaled customer support.
AppStrap is also a proud supporter of AeroAngel, a Denver-based aviation nonprofit, founded by Mark Pestal in 2010. AeroAngel's mission is to help really sick children fly to distant, life-saving medical care on private jets at no cost to their families. www.AeroAngel.org AeroAngel operates a Learjet based at Centennial Airport in Denver. AppStrap has donated 10% of its net profits to AeroAngel since 2012 to support flights for Children's Hospitals across the country.
